Well I’ve had a bit of a setback- I fell and broke my elbow and big toe on opposite sides. The good news is that I’m left handed and that arm is great.

We just got a bit of snow and so i’m not feeling too bad about being indoors. Im working on sewing a holder for scissors with a tie strap on back. I often find I can’t find them up laying on my castle.
This design is for a large pair of scissors and can tie through the castle at various points. For that matter this scissor holder could also be useful to a seamstress. I would love to hear your thoughts on finding and storing your scissors while working.

Stay inquisitive,
Carol
Winter Warmup
Much of the snow we got here in Kansas melted about as quickly as it arrived. I’m glad for it and look forward to the end of January and the hints of spring.
In the meantime I made another scissor holder and this is for a small scissors. I think I will start making it as a product to sell. It has cardboard inside and a good tie to attach it many places. And, its environmentally friendly which means all cotton!! What do you think?

Happy Weaving!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
Today is Valentine’s Day. Hope you’re having a great holiday. I’ve been weaving some rag rugs with cotton sheets. These are the buffalo check design. They will be for sale here soon. I had a good time making them and I think they turned out pretty nice.

Well, that’s all for now. Let me know if you have tried any buffalo check rugs and how they turned out.
Happy Weaving,
Carol
